News Release Thumbnail Two heavily-traveled western Pasco County roads are in need of widening to meet present and future demands – and we want to hear from you! Pasco’s Transportation Engineering Department is hosting an open house-style public meeting to go over the DeCubellis Road Phase II & III widening project Thursday, March 14, 2024.

The project will run from Little Road to Town Center Road – and Starkey Boulevard from DeCubellis Road south for about a mile.  These changes are needed because of our growing population and planned residential developments.

WHAT: DeCubellis Road Phase II & III Widening Project

WHEN: Thursday, March 14
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Pasco-Hernando State College
10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey
Conference Center | Building R

County staff and design engineering consultants will be on hand at the workshop to answer questions and concerns from community members.

Project Details:

  • Widening of the roads from two lanes to four lanes. See map HERE.
  • A divided median
  • A multi-use trail on DeCubellis Road with dedicated bike lanes
  • Upgrades to the intersections of DeCubellis Road and Starkey Boulevard – and DeCubellis Road and Tanglewood Drive
