You will receive an email from a HR representative to complete and submit all required documentation. CJSTC 58 (Authority for Release of Information, Background Investigation Waiver) requires your signature to be notarized.

A background is conducted by Human Resources, according to Rule 11B-27.0011(1), F.A.C. and Section 943.13 (7), F.S.
A Detective will review your Administrative Interview Questionnaire with you and answer any questions you may have. The interview can take approximately 1 to 2 hours. (Dress: Business casual attire)
The oral board is held at the Pasco County Detention Center, located at 20101 Central Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, FL 34637. This is a panel interview that will consist of a Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Corporal and a Human Resources representative. You be asked a series of questions to include scenario questions. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. (Dress: Business casual attire)
You will interview with the Chief Correctional Officer or designee. This meeting may take up to 2 hours. (Dress: Business casual attire)
If selected to continue, you will receive a conditional offer. A conditional offer of employment is a job offer that is contingent upon satisfactorily completing the polygraph examination, physical abilities test (P.A.T), FDLE physical, drug screening, CJBAT, complete background investigation and any other conditions or requirements.
You will be notified by Human Resources once all requirements are met and have been approved by the Chief Correctional Officer. An official offer of employment will be given at this time.
