How to Order a MyCarePack

The Pasco County Government approved full menu is available for friends and family to order instead of the “Care Packs” that have been sold previously. This means that friends and family will be able to customize a Care Pack from all the items that are on the Commissary Menu distributed to you by Pasco County. $75 is the amount that can be ordered plus $7.95 for shipping and handling. The processing fee is $7.95. The old Care Packs are no longer available. All restrictions for Pasco County and MyCarePack still apply. One package per inmate per week may be ordered. Only commissary questions can be answered by Trinity Commissary at the Jail, (813) 235-6053. Care Pack ordering and questions must be directed to MyCarePack:

Securus Wireless Tablets

Securus Technologies provides an easy way for you to communicate with your incarcerated friend or loved one. Inmates at Pasco County Jail have access to wireless tablets, which means you have more ways to stay connected with them and they have more productive and positive ways to spend their time.

e-Messaging:

eMessaging allows family and friends to communicate with an incarcerated loved one using email like messaging.  To utilize eMessaging, you must have a Securus Online account and login to use eMessaging. eMessages are sent and received from your eMessaging inbox from this website or on the Securus mobile app. eMessages are paid for by purchasing a book of ‘stamps’. Stamp pricing varies by facility. Once you select your incarcerated individual the stamp price will be shown. Friends and family pay per messages sent or photo uploaded.

All messages and photos are subject to review by the facility. If a message or photo is rejected or the incarcerated individual reply is rejected you will receive a reject message in your inbox with the reason for the rejection. Stamps are not refunded if messages or attachments are rejected.

Media:

Information on education, mental health, addiction recovery, personal development, employment and religion are provided at no cost and available on the tablets. 

Entertainment options, to include music, movies, television shows and games are available at an additional cost. These funds must be deposited via Access Corrections. The inmate will need to transfer the funds from their commissary account to their tablet account.

Inmate Phone Calls

Inmate Calling Solutions (ICS) is the inmate telephone provider utilized by Pasco County Government. ICS’s core responsibilities are to ensure inmates are provided reasonable access to talk with friends or family members while incarcerated within the Detention Facility. All inmate phone calls are made collect with the exception of those set up through prepaid accounts. The following are the means in which inmates can make telephone calls from within the facility: Prepaid Collect Calling Debit Telephone Account Calling Either of these two options can be used by utilizing the following link and starting a user account, or by calling 1-888-506-8407.

Video & Virtual Visitation

ICSolutions Advanced Technology – The Visitor™ Video Visitation (1-888-506-8407).

  • All visitors 18 years and older, wishing to conduct a video visit with you will need to register as a visitor at www.icsolutions.com.
  • All personal video visits are subject to monitoring and recording.
  • Visits must be scheduled, at a minimum of 17 hours in advance. Visits can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance.
  • Video Visits can be up to 20 minutes long, and costs $0.25 per minute.
  • Friends and family can schedule visits using their ICS prepaid account.
  • Inmates can schedule visits using their ICS debit phone account.
  • To schedule an offsite visit, you will need to have at least $5. The full amount will be taken from your account as soon as your visit is scheduled. Unused time will be refunded. If your visit is cancelled, the $5 will be returned to the account.
  • Visitors wishing to visit from home will be required to download The Visitor™ visitation Windows PC, Apple or Android application & test prior to participating in an offsite visit.
  • You can log in up a few minutes prior to the start time. Visits will connect at the scheduled time if the visitor and inmate are both logged in and ready.
  • Arriving/connecting late will result in partial time is lost.
  • Visitor internet connectivity issues during offsite visits will not be refunded.
  • Appropriate dress is required at all times.
  • If your visit is terminated by the facility, no refund will be issued.
  • Staff can deny, change, or cancel a visit at any time at their discretion.
  • Any violation of the visitation rules may result in the termination of your visit and/or suspension of your visitation privileges and the privileges of your visitor.
  • Visitors requesting the removal of relationships/inmates on their visitation log must contact Customer Service at: 888-506-8407.

Schedule

  • Virtual Visits are every day 8:30 am – 11:30 am, 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm, 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm.
  • Administrative Segregation inmates and Red Dot inmates will only be authorized up to 2 hours (6 – 20 minute sessions) per week.
  • Onsite visitations are Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 10:00 am and 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
  • Saturday - 8:30 am - 10:00 am and 1:00 pm  - 3:30 pm

Inmate Mail

Pasco County Corrections Department utilizes digital mail scanning services via Securus Technologies. Personal mail is not accepted at the Pasco County Jail.

All personal mail must be addressed in the following manner:

Once the mail is received at the Securus Digital Mail Center it will be digitally scanned and available to be viewed on tablets and/or kiosks. 

Guidelines

  • Ensure the writing on the front of the envelope is legible and includes the required information. Failure to properly address the envelope may result in your mail being returned or delayed. 
  • Paper size cannot exceed 8.5 inches x 14 inches, and must be a minimum of 4 inches x 6 inches. Non-paper items are not accepted. Anything that cannot be scanned will be returned to the sender. 
  • The following items are not eligible to be scanned: legal mail, newspaper and magazine clippings, post-it notes, items attached to paper via tape or adhesives, documents that include staples, paperclips, binding agents or adhesives, greeting cards with die cuts or pop out designs and documents with glitter or sparkles. 
  • Certified mail, packages, money order and cash will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
  • The following writing instruments should be avoided when writing a letter: felt tip pen, marker, Sharpie, and wax or oil based mediums. 
  • Any individual sending personal mail that wishes to have it returned to them after scanning must includes a self-addressed, stamped envelope included in the original mail document. 
  • Pictures and drawings will be accepted for scanning, however should not be on the reverse side of text documents to ensure that the text on the opposite side of the page can be scanned clearly. 
  • Pages pulled from a spiral bound book that include torn fringe or “chads” must be trimmed prior to mailing. 
  • All physical mail will be destroyed 60 days after upload.

The following items must be mailed directly to the facility: 

A. Privileged Mail (This includes communication with the following entities: public officials, governmental agencies, the Florida Bar, municipal/county/state/federal courts, state attorneys, private attorneys, public defenders, legal aid organizations, agency clerks, government attorneys, correctional administrators of the grievance system, parole authority members, domestic violence organizations, adoption agencies and local and state child welfare agencies.)

Inmates are not permitted to receive publications from an outside source. Any publication received by the mailroom will be returned to the sender. Publications are available to inmates on tablets and through the inmate library.
