Pasco County Commissioner Mike Wells, District 4, was elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2014, and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. Commissioner Wells served as the Vice Chairman in 2017. He is a native Floridian and a 39+ year resident of Pasco County. Mike attended Ridgewood High School and studied at Pasco Hernando State College. He resides in New Port Richey with his wife and son.
Mike Wells is a member of the National Association of Realtors, West Pasco Board of Realtors, Florida Realtors and the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the Leadership Pasco class of 2006 and in the Leadership Tampa Bay 2018-2019 class.
Mike has been appointed as the Pasco County board representative for the Area Agency on Aging, the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, the Pasco Economic Development Council, Chairman of the Property Value Adjustment Board, and the Tampa Bay Estuary Program.
Mike’s passion is participating in many volunteer activities including offering support to the YMCA of the Suncoast, United Way, Volunteer Way, Empowering Pasco’s Veterans, Florida West Credit Union, The Angelus, President of Feeding Pasco’s Elderly and the Coastal Conservation Association.
