Pasco County’s Land Development Codes are aimed at protecting the safety and quality of life for the residents, merchants, and visitors within our community. You may not be aware that roof over docks are, in most instances, prohibited along the coastal water ways in Pasco County.
Pursuant to the Pasco County Land Development Code, Section 1001.4.B.2-3, roofs, overhead coverings, walls, enclosures, and other similar, visual obstructions are prohibited on docks, lifts, piling, or similar structures built over the water.
