Regency Park Blvd. and Sandalwood Drive Water Main Replacement
(Update: July 29, 2021)
The Pasco County Utilities Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Department will be actively working to address a much needed water main replacement on Regency Park Blvd. and Sandalwood Dr. To ensure safety while the scheduled repairs are made, traffic will be detoured according to the calendar outlined below.
O&M Team Members and the contractor will be onsite for approximately four (4) weeks to complete the project. Every effort is being made to ensure that there is minimal disruption to customers as well as traffic in the area.
Road Detour Calendar:
August 2, through August 4: The intersection at Regency Park Blvd. and Sandalwood Dr. will be closed for a water main installation across the roadway, with north and south bound detours in place.
August 4, through August 6: The intersection at Regency Park Blvd. and Sandalwood Dr. will remain closed during road restoration and pavement overlay.
August 8, through August 13: Regency Park Blvd. will have daily lane shifts along the eastside while the installation of a 12” water main is underway. Lane shifts will be removed at the end of each work day,
August 16, through August 22: Some temporary traffic detours and lane shifts may occur during the final tie-in of the 12” water main, as well as the completion of the final mill and overlay restoration activities. During this time there will be no overnight closures.
