Pasco County is pleased to announce a NEW program to help pay your bills directly if you live in Pasco County and have experienced economic hardship due to COVID-19. The Help with Emergency Assistance Relief for Tenants (H.E.A.R.T.) program can pay up to 15 months of bills for qualifying renters.
The types of bills eligible for payment under the Pasco H.E.A.R.T. program include:
- Rent
- Utilities (water and electric only)
To qualify your household must be at or below the income guideline listed below (please see chart), and you must be able to prove Pasco residency and economic impacted from COVID-19.

- Pasco County Human Services will announce dates and times to apply via a web-based portal with a predetermined number of available spots. You can apply through the portal at: bit.ly/2EtSEml.
- Pasco County Community Development is partnering with multiple local agencies to provide more opportunities for you to apply for assistance. Pasco County received an estimated $16.7 million dollars in Emergency Rental Assistance funding from the U.S. Treasury to provide aid to customers who have been financially impacted by COVID-19. Funding was provided to cities and counties with populations over 200,000 who applied by January 12, 2021.
