Volunteer Opportunities

 Volunteering DOES NOT count as Court Ordered Community Service.
Any volunteer hours performed WILL NOT count towards the hours ordered by the court.
No exceptions will be made.

If you need to perform Court Ordered Community Service, you MUST come to Animal Services and provide documentation from the court.  Felony cases may not complete their Court Ordered Community Service at PCAS per current policy.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

  • Cannot be on the Animal Abuse Registry

  • May be required to complete a background check

  • Must be able to volunteer a minimum of 1 shift per week

Hours of Operation for Volunteer Shifts

The above hours listed are the available times that volunteers can be on the shelter's property. All pets must be returned to kennel by the time listed above.
Sunday
8am until 3pm
Monday
 8am until 4:30pm
Tuesday through Thursday
 8am until 5pm
Friday through Saturday
 8am until 6pm
