Application Checklist 

A Building permit application submitted under the provisions of Section 1000.Miscellaneous Structure Regulations of the Land Development Code shall include the information listed below. Additional information may be required at the time of technical review.

Dock Permit Application

Reminder of Ordinance Change

1. Submit Two (2) sets of Engineered plans (signed and sealed) (digital signature not acceptable).

2. Submit Two (2) scaled site plans to include the following:

        A. Scaled or accurately dimensioned existing site plan showing any and all Dock/Seawall/ Boat

             Ramps/ and Boat lift layout(s), location on parcel, including dimensions, and location on property.

        B. Width of the Lake, canal, or waterway 

        C. Aerial image showing any neighboring docks, boat lift, pilings.

         D. Scaled or accurately dimensioned proposed site plan showing any and all Dock/Seawall/ Boat.

             Ramps/ and Boat lift layout(s), location on parcel, including dimensions, and location on property.

         E. If the Property is at the end of the canal or other location where the side use lines converge, provide

             a riparian rights survey.

         F. If the property is a Condominium unit, specify the boat slip number and identify the boat slip on the site plan

        G. If the property is a Condominium provide a letter from the Homeowners Association, giving authorization to

            complete proposed work.

        H. Identify any existing channel in the waterway on the site plan.

Land Development Code (LDC):

 3. Applicant must fill out the Dock and Seawall Permit Application correctly

         A. 1- Application for all the work being completed prior to final inspections.

         B. 1-Approved application for any extension.

Wetlands I and II (Natural Resource):

4. Category I or II Wetlands

         A. Size of dock structure & vessel mooring area

         B. Length of any walkway.

         C. If combined size is over 1000 sq.ft.. a permit from F.D.E.P. is required for either Category I or II

* NOTE: ALL EXTENSIONS REQUEST REQUIRE A $60.00 EXTENSION FEE.

          A. Letter requesting an extension with justifiable reason for the extension

         B. Referenced approved application

*Pasco County Staff to complete the bottom/ Confirm existing below (do not include work proposed)

Zoning, Wetland Category, Seawall, Pilings, Boat lift, Dock.

New Seawall in Wetland Category I is prohibited under section 805 of Natural Resources and is not consistent with the Comprehensive Plans. Repairs or rebuilding seawall may be acceptable.

THE SUBMITTAL WILL BE REJECTED, UNLESS ALL APPLICABLE ABOVE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED.
