As COVID - 19 (coronavirus) continues to impact our communities and world we want to share the changes we are making in building construction services central permitting office.
Central Permitting is accepting permit drop off and pick-ups along with payments at the customer service window on the first floor of the West Pasco Government Center in New Port Richey.
Our Dade City and Land O' Lakes offices are also accepting permit drop off and pick-ups and allowing one person at a time in the lobby area to pay permit fees; we accept cash, credit card, or a check. When paying in cash, please bring the exact amount and be sure to wear a face covering.
Permits will be worked on in the order they are received.
Contractors are encouraged to use our online permitting system Accela for Residential Reroofs; HVAC Changeouts; Plumbing; Electrical; etc.
New Florida Building Code Requirements effective December 31, 2020:
The new 7th edition (2020) of the The Florida Building Codewill take effect on December 31, 2020. Permitapplications and construction plans submitted on or after the effective date must demonstrate compliance with thenew code.
All permit documents for Residential New Homes including Mobile Homes are to be submitted electronically only.
