This coastal property serves as a nesting habitat for migratory birds and listed species including the white ibis and snowy egret, while ensuring protection of natural and rapidly disappearing water frontage on the Gulf of Mexico. A short nature trail (0.18 miles) extends from the parking lot to a pavilion and observation deck nestled in mangroves. Pasco Palms protects native forested wetlands, salt marshes, mixed hardwood pine forests, mangrove swamps, and tidal flats.
