Low Income Program

We offer an income-based low-cost spay/neuter program for Pasco residents. Participants in the program can have up to 3 pets per household spayed or neutered.

To qualify, you must be a PASCO COUNTY RESIDENT, and meet one or more of the following criteria:

*Currently receiving Medicaid, Food Stamps, WIC or SSI (Supplemental Security Income)

*Meet the household income eligibility guidelines

PLEASE NOTE: Social Security, Disability, Unemployment or Worker’s Compensation are NOT automatic qualifications.

Surgery Pricing

Price per pet, for up to 3 pets per household per year:

Cats - $10.00

Dogs - $20.00

Price for each additional pet:

Cats - $45.00

Dogs - $75.00

Pet owner is required to purchase a Pasco County license at the time of surgery.

Fees Include:

- Pre-operative exam

- Rabies vaccination

- Spay/neuter surgery

Funding for this program is provided by the sale of Pasco County animal licenses in addition to grants from Petsmart Charities.
