Purchasing
The Purchasing Department's purpose is to procure the necessary goods and services required by the departments in a transparent, fair and ethical manner. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Purchasing Department to ensure that all procurement activity is conducted in compliance with the Pasco County Purchasing Ordinance Opens a New Window. and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations and approved policies and procedures.
Note: The Amended Purchasing Ordinance now includes a Local Vendor Preference Policy in Section 2-111, effective as of June 12, 2018. Corresponding documents are located under Chapter 2-Administration, Article IV-Finance, and Division 2, Purchasing.

In an effort to generate more local vendor participation, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Purchasing Department will be holding a workshop called "Doing Business with Pasco County." This is a great opportunity to learn about:

This workshop is also meant as a chance for you to provide feedback on ways we can better address the needs of local vendors.
