The Water Conservation Hotel and Motel Program (Water CHAMP) assists regional lodging facilities in implementing meaningful, cost-effective water saving measures such as linen and towel reuse programs. Participation is easy, and is absolutely free.

From Florida DEP's website: "The Florida Green Lodging Program is a voluntary initiative of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) that designates and recognizes lodging facilities that make a commitment to conserve and protect Florida’s natural resources. The program’s environmental guidelines allow the hospitality industry to evaluate its operations, set goals and take specific actions to continuously improve environmental performance."

Note on joint participation - Water CHAMP + Green Lodging: Your hotel can receive 13 points towards the Florida Green Lodging designation by joining the Water CHAMP program mentioned above, implementing the towel and linen reuse program, and by installing the free low flow faucet aerators you’ll receive upon joining Water CHAMP.
