Passengers must adhere to the following rules while on-board the vehicle to ensure their safety:
On paratransit vehicles – all passengers must use seatbelts. The driver will secure wheelchairs; passengers must use the shoulder restraint.
On transit – the driver will secure wheelchairs. Shoulder restraint is passengers’ option.
Passengers should refrain from any unnecessary conversation with the driver to avoid distraction.
However, passengers should notify the driver of a problem.
Service animals are permitted to accompany their owner on the bus. Small animals may be brought on-board a transit bus only when they are in a carrier and held on the passenger’s lap.
Passengers can carry belongings as long as they are small enough to fit on their lap or by their feet.
Items cannot block the aisle or be placed on the seat next to the passenger.
PCPT is not responsible for items left on the bus.
Any suspicious package must be reported to the driver immediately.
Please allow the elderly and/or passenger with disabilities to sit in the front seat near the driver.
Passengers must remain behind the standee line.
Passengers must remain seated until the vehicle comes to a complete stop for alighting passengers.
Children under 8 are welcome to ride as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Children age four and under ride free (up to 3 children with each paying adult).
