The mission of the Pasco County Citizen Corps Council is to bring together local leaders, citizen volunteers and volunteer first responder organizations to share resources and training.The council aspires to have all citizens participate in making communities safer by providing them with the training needed for preventing and responding to threats of all kinds.

The primary goal is to increase public awareness to the issues confronting the community at large while offering preventative measures through education and training.The secondary goal is to ensure that utilization of these trained volunteers in the event of a local disaster or emergency.
