 As a customer of Pasco County Utilities, you may elect to have your service temporarily turned off and placed in a vacation status. There is a fee to disconnect the water and a fee to reconnect the water. You will be billed for service through the date your service is disconnected. You will not be billed during the time your service has been turned off. Billing will commence following the reconnection of your service.

ALL REQUESTS FOR DISCONNECTION/RECONNECTION OF SERVICE MUST BE EITHER BY LETTER, FAX, E-MAIL OR IN PERSON. SORRY, BUT NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS CAN BE ACCEPTED.


If you should forget to request reconnection before returning to your home in Florida, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RECONNECT THE WATER YOURSELF AS THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED TAMPERING AND MAY SUBJECT YOU TO A $500.00 FINE.

We cannot accept requests earlier than one (1) month prior to the requested date.

The turn on/off vacation fee with at least 48 hours notice is $39.00 through September 30, 2008.
REMEMBER: WE DO NOT WORK SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR MOST HOLIDAYS.
