Effective October 1, 2005, the following rates will apply as approved by Board of County Commissioners September 7, 2005.

1. All Commercial haulers will be charged at the going rate, which is currently $56.70, a ton.

2. Only normal household waste that would be placed at curbside for regular pickup shall be exempt from payment.

3. EXCEPTIONALLY large loads of furniture or other waste (to be determined by the Solid Waste Attendant) will be charged the going rate, which is currently $56.70 a ton.

4. Mixed loads requiring special handling will be accepted and charged at the going rate, which is currently $56.70 a ton, i.e., tires, white goods, scrap metals, etc. mixed with solid waste (driver must separate items for proper disposal).

5. Yard waste accepted only if bagged or bundled.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT YARD WASTE OVER 4 FEET LONG OR 6 INCHES IN DIAMETER AT THIS LOCATION.

6. No construction debris will be accepted or excessive loads of furniture (to be determined by Solid Waste Attendant).

7. Special wastes              $56.70 a ton

8. Tires – Car - 10 per day limit    $1.00 ea.                     

Semi – 2 per day limit $2.00 ea.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE CENTER IS AVAILABLE TO PASCO COUNTY RESIDENTS EVERY WEDNESDAY AND THE SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. FREE OF CHARGE.          

Individuals who refuse to follow the rules and policies of Pasco County Utilities/Solid Waste will be prohibited from the use of this facility.
