Spay/Neuter Rebate Program
A rebate is
available to dog license tag holders that have sterilization performed by a
participating veterinarian.
PASCO COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WILL PAY YOU $40.00…TO BE A RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNER! TO RECEIVE
YOUR $40.00 REBATE, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Your dog must have a current $20.00 Pasco County Dog
License prior to sterilization.
- Take your dog to a participating licensed veterinarian
for sterilization. A participating veterinarian is one who sells Pasco
Count Licenses.
- Complete the top portion of a Spay/Neuter Rebate
Certificate.
- Make sure
your pet’s license number is listed on the top of the form.
- Have the veterinarian complete the lower portion of the
rebate certificate.
- Return the completed Spay/Neuter Rebate Certificate
form within 30 DAYS OF SURGERY to Pasco County Animal Services for
processing.
- Your rebate will be mailed to you from Pasco County approximately 10 weeks later.
- Please note that the rebate program is for dogs only.
- Rebates are offered only as funds are available. Funds
are derived from a percentage of the price of each license tag sold from
unaltered dogs.
- The amount of rebate will not exceed the cost of
sterilization.
- The rebate is only offered to Pasco County residents .
