Restoration & Enhancement
RestorationNatural Systems Management
Restoration is the process or result of returning a degraded habitat to a healthy, self-sustaining one. In lands previously disturbed, natural systems management will be used to return the areas back to their previous conditions or to a natural ecosystem best suited to current conditions.

Examples of Restoration
Restoration of impacted land includes:
  • Non-native species reduction
  • Reestablishment of natural hydrological systems
  • Reversal of land clearing back to a natural state
