After Hours Assistance:
Animal Control Officers are available 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday
File a report 24 HOURS A DAY HERE
Electronically filed reports will be addressed by the assigned ACO in order of importance.
If You Have an Emergency: 
Addressed by a “Stand-By” Officer
Stand by begins at 4:00PM on a regular business day and ends the following day at 8:00AM. One ACO covers the entire county and addresses only emergencies at this time
What Constitutes an Emergency?:               
*Animals that have bitten someone AND are still running loose
*Unconfined,
aggressive animals that are posing an IMMEDIATE threat to public health and safety
*B
adly injured stray domestic animals, I.E. those animals in imminent danger of dying. (Emergency care of owned injured animals is the responsibility of the owner).
*Animal Services responds to eme
rgency calls dealing with only dogs and cats, unless there is a bite involved to a person.
