Our Tourism Development Team - Visit Pasco

Visit Pasco serves the broader interests of the economy of Pasco County by acting as an industry leader to market the entire area regionally, nationally and internationally while promoting the area as a travel destination, by marketing our natural attractions, cultural heritage and by recruiting events that showcase Pasco County as a premier nature and outdoors destination in Florida. Our vision is to inspire people to fall in love with all of our nature and outdoor adventures in Pasco County, by promoting the destination with our partners, to show tourists that Florida is more than just theme parks.

Though our team is small, we are strong in our commitment and precision. Our varying backgrounds and skills make up a powerful dynamic that is sure to take Pasco County Tourism to the next level.

Ed Caum - Program Manager

Ed Caum has been with Pasco County for six years, working in the Office of Tourism Development. Ed is retired military and has considerable experience in non-profit operation and government operations. He has a combination of communication, marketing and sales skills that will serve well in promoting Pasco, both nationally and internationally. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Excelsior College and an Executive’s Series Certificate from the Non-Profit Center for Excellence, Indiana University.

He currently serves on two of Visit Florida’s committees, the Marketing Steering Council Committee and Chairs the Cultural, Heritage, Rural and Nature Committee. He has also served on the Salt Springs Alliance board for Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park for the past five years.

Ed is a graduate of multiple military leadership courses during his career and three County Leadership Programs: two in Indiana and the Pasco County Leadership Program. He is currently a board member of the Pasco County Leadership Program.


Lauren St. Martin - Public Communication Specialist

Ms. St. Martin currently serves the Pasco County Office of Tourism Development, better known as Visit Pasco, as the Public Communications Specialist/Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for marketing and communications, material design, project management and the Special Event Marketing Program.

Ms. St. Martin’s past experience includes public relations for private companies, as well as numerous public projects across nearby counties in Florida, special event planning, digital design and marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with specialization in Public Relations from the University of South Florida. After college she returned to USF to pursue a certificate in Meeting & Event Planning and will soon be attending school again to earn her Master’s Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management.

Consuelo Sanchez - Tourism Project Coordinator

Consuelo Sanchez serves the Pasco County Office of Tourism Development as the Sr. Secretary and throughout 2016 has been the acting Sports Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for handling the Pasco County Film Commission Office and directs the administrative functions of the department, including the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of specific projects, as well as managing the budget.

Mrs. Sanchez studied business administration at Escuela de Administracion de Negocios (EAN) in Bogota, Colombia, as well as information security systems, and accounting at Universidad Libertadores and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Her background includes more than 18 years of experience analyzing information, preparing reports for governmental entities, and other stakeholders. In Colombia she worked with large petroleum companies managing the logistics department, leading groups and achieving results.

As a church leader she worked with teams and individuals in the largest church in Colombia for more than seven years where she provided motivation, mentoring and coaching, goal setting, strategic planning, social services, event coordination, and different initiatives where she played critical roles.

Open Position - Tourism Director
This is a highly responsible management, administrative, and supervisory position that leads the implementation of a comprehensive program for tourism development for Pasco County, Florida through an adopted Tourism Development Plan. The position requires a high degree of initiative and strong communications skills to implement the tourism plan with the intention of increasing revenues and to be sustainable throughout its implementation and into the future. The position is both developmental and operational, helping to both create annual business plans and then ensure effective follow-through and measure program performance.

The Director will promote and direct all efforts to attract and enhance all aspects of the Pasco County tourist industry and will analyze, administer, and direct all matters pertaining to the disposition of the Tourist development Tax revenues, to include budget planning and execution, revenue projections, and strategic planning and coordination regarding tourism advertising and promotion to improve the tourism development efforts of Pasco County.
