Visit Pasco serves the broader interests of the economy of Pasco County by acting as an industry leader to market the entire area regionally, nationally and internationally while promoting the area as a travel destination, by marketing our natural attractions, cultural heritage and by recruiting events that showcase Pasco County as a premier nature and outdoors destination in Florida. Our vision is to inspire people to fall in love with all of our nature and outdoor adventures in Pasco County, by promoting the destination with our partners, to show tourists that Florida is more than just theme parks.

Open - Program Manager / Digital Media & Communications

The Program Manager is a professional career position responsible for creating, growing, promoting and updating the official destination website for Pasco County. It also ensures the county’s online worldwide presence for visitors is as positive and accurate as possible. Requires independent judgment and discretion to provide accurate, attractive, comprehensive and professional information, optimized for search engine discovery, about all activities, amenities and attractions within an hour of the county, and to develop strategies to correct and embellish online information sources.

The Program Manager manages external SEO and website development agencies, as needed. Work requires effective use of time for managing diverse activities; exceptional customer service skills; and independent judgment and discretion in planning, scheduling and coordinating tasks and sources of information. Excellent writing, editing, design, and proofreading skills/knowledge are mandatory. Knowledge of SEO/SEM, website development and social media is also required.

Ms. St. Martin currently serves the Pasco County Office of Tourism Development, better known as Visit Pasco, as the Public Communications Specialist/Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for marketing and communications, material design, project management and the Special Event Marketing Program.

Ms. St. Martin’s past experience includes public relations for private companies, as well as numerous public projects across nearby counties in Florida, special event planning, digital design and marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with specialization in Public Relations from the University of South Florida. After college she returned to USF to pursue a certificate in Meeting & Event Planning and will soon be attending school again to earn her Master’s Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management.

Consuelo Sanchez serves the Pasco County Office of Tourism Development as the Sr. Secretary and throughout 2016 has been the acting Sports Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for handling the Pasco County Film Commission Office and directs the administrative functions of the department, including the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of specific projects, as well as managing the budget.

Mrs. Sanchez studied business administration at Escuela de Administracion de Negocios (EAN) in Bogota, Colombia, as well as information security systems, and accounting at Universidad Libertadores and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Her background includes more than 18 years of experience analyzing information, preparing reports for governmental entities, and other stakeholders. In Colombia she worked with large petroleum companies managing the logistics department, leading groups and achieving results.

As a church leader she worked with teams and individuals in the largest church in Colombia for more than seven years where she provided motivation, mentoring and coaching, goal setting, strategic planning, social services, event coordination, and different initiatives where she played critical roles.

Doug Traub was named Director of Tourism for Pasco County, Fla. in January of 2017. For more than two decades he has served as President/CEO of destination marketing organizations (DMOs) in Fayetteville, N.C; Huntington Beach, Calif.; Jekyll Island, Ga.; and Lake Havasu City, Ariz. As part of the local economic development team, he has grown annual visitation and tourism revenues in every community where he has served. 

Doug is an expert at merging the need for immediate results (heads in beds) with long-range strategies that build destination competitiveness and enhance organizational productivity. He is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (APR) and certified as a destination management executive (CDME) by Destination Marketing Association International, the worldwide trade organization for DMOs across the globe.

Doug’s career began in Manhattan as an account executive in one of the top 20 public relations agencies in the world. Over the years, Doug worked his way up through the ranks of agencies, blue chip corporations, non-profit associations and government as a successful and effective senior marketing executive. He grew up in Miami, Fla., where he earned the rank of Eagle from the Boy Scouts of America.
