VISION “Excellence...Always"

As many of you are aware, the Clerks for a Cure has diversified our giving. We have chosen four charities to be affiliated with this year, selected from your recommendations. This year the fundraising efforts of Clerks for a Cure will be expanded to include the following organizations with which to raise awareness and donations:

Clerks for a Cure is off to a great start with the planning of events in support of the charity organizations listed below:
Relay for Life.png American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. One of those people could be you or someone you love. That’s why we relay. When you join a Relay for Life event, you are helping the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking research, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention information. When you relay, you help save lives.
Pace.png  PACE Center for Girls serves local girls in the areas of academic improvement, social services, and transition support. The target population for PACE Pasco is at-risk girls between ages 11 to 17 who may benefit from a more personalized and supportive educational environment. At PACE Pasco, girls work to become productive citizens, who value their education, repair family relationships, celebrate their achievements and build self-confidence.
Promise  Each week, The Thomas Promise Foundation packs more than 1,000 backpacks with safe, non-perishable, and nutritious food to get Pasco students through the weekend when school meals are not available. The foundation also helps with field trips, school clothes, and sports expenses for kids who might otherwise do without. The Thomas Promise goal is to provide children the things they need to flourish, and grow, into the future of our community.
Pasco Animal Services Pasco County Animal Services’ goal is to ensure the health and safety of the people and pets in our community by encouraging responsible pet ownership through education and legislation, and by providing incentives to sterilize pets. They strive to save 90 percent of the adoptable animals that come into the shelter.
