Cypress Creek Watershed
The Cypress Creek/South Lake Watershed is located in the central portion of Pasco County and covers approximately 160 square miles.  The 25 mile long Cypress Creek originates in the north central portion of Pasco County and flows south into the Cypress Swamp located southwest of the -75/SR 52 interchange.  The creek then continues south into Hillsborough County before finally discharging into the Hillsborough River just north of SR 582A (Fowler Ave.).  The South Lakes portion of the watershed is located just east of US 41 in the vicinity of SR 54.  A map of the watershed is available:
