Opening a Water and/or Sewer Account

Requirements to Open a Water and/or Sewer Account

  • Billing name on the account (only one name on the account)
  • Service address
  • Mailing address
  • Date you want the service to begin
  • Contact phone number
  • If you are a renter - a copy of your lease (signed by all parties & dated)         
  • If you are an owner - proof of ownership (signed by all parties & dated)
  • A copy of your current driver's license or state-issued photo ID
  • Payment of deposit and fees (see below for details)

Deposits for 3/4" Meters

 Water Only Deposit for renters $71.00 
 Water and Sewer or Sewer Only Deposit for homeowners $175.00
 Water and Sewer or Sewer Only Deposit for renters $210.00










Deposits are held in a non-interest bearing account.  The deposit will be credited to the account after 24 consecutive months of on-time payments and no returned checks. If the account is closed, the deposit will be applied to the final balance. Any refunds will be mailed to the person whose name is on the account.  Refund should be received 6 - 8 weeks after the final read on the account.  Please note if the water is currently off at the new address, there will be a $97 turn-on fee for same day service or $56 for any day thereafter.

If you have mailed your information and fees, please call one of our offices three (3) business days prior to the date you have requested the service to start in order to confirm receipt of your request.
Accounts cannot be opened over the phone.  Any unpaid balance or fees on an
existing or previous account must be paid in full prior to opening an new account.
