Kids of all ages will enjoy exploring more than 100 military, police, fire and construction vehicles – and a new Pasco County bus – at the largest ‘Touch-a-Truck’ in the South! Children will be able to sit in the vehicles, test out the sirens and talk one-on-one with the men and women who drive the equipment. The Kids Zone will include inflatables, carnival games, face painting and much more.

Pasco County will honor the service and sacrifice of its veterans with a Veterans Resource Fair at the Pasco County Fairgrounds Saturday, November 3, 2018. The event will also feature the Remembering Florida’s Fallen exhibit, a traveling photo memorial of Florida service members killed in action since 9/11. The display spans more than 100 feet and contains personal messages and tributes.

Be creative and make your own rustic hypertufa containers in nearly any size or shape. “Tufa” refers to artificial stone. The porous planters are good for succulents, herbs or other plants. This is a hands-on workshop. The $8.50 fee covers materials for pots. Bring your own molds (pots or cardboard boxes) and gloves, or use those provided. We will work outside, weather permitting. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Be prepared to take your container home with you that day. Registration on Eventbrite is required. No walk-ins. No refunds.
