This is in response to the petition of Theresa Victoria Ekdahl and Harvey Carl Ekdahl, who have requested a public hearing before the Board of County Commissioner’s regular meeting of August 27, 2002.
It is recommended that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board.
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS:
The petitioners seek to vacate the following portion of easement:

BY REFERENCE MADE A PART HEREOF
The petitioners request this vacation of a portion of easement for the following reason: Barn was built in the easement.
The subject property is located approximately 1070 feet east of Dansville Drive on the south side of the cul-de-sac of Donney Moor Lane.
Said portion of easement has been dedicated to the public by the recorded plat of The Highlands, Unit 10, Lot 2420, as recorded in Plat Book 12, Pages 121 thru 138, of the Public Records of Pasco County, Florida.
ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS:
After reviewing the petition and inspecting the property, the Board has two alternatives:
1. To approve the petition as requested.
2. To disapprove the petition should there be some future need for this portion of easement.
RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING:
Therefore, the Real Estate Division recommends the Board approve Alternative No. 1 and authorize the Chairman to execute the Notice of Adoption of a Resolution, and the Resolution to vacate the above-described portion of easement of Lot 2420, The Highlands, Unit 10.
No funding will be required to complete this project.
