SUBJECT:       Resolution Establishing the Pasco County Environmental Land Acquisition Task Force

It is recommended that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.

DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS:

Please find attached for your consideration a revised Resolution of the Board Of County Commissioners Of Pasco County, Florida, Establishing The Pasco County Environmental Land Acquisition Task Force. This Resolution was brought before the Board on August 13, 2002.  At that time, the Board requested certain changes to the Resolution.  The attached Resolution is a redlined version showing the changes made at the request of the Board on August 13^th.

ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS:

1.         Adopt the attached proposed Resolution of the Board Of County Commissioners Of Pasco County, Florida, Establishing The Pasco County Environmental Land Acquisition Task Force.

2.         Do not adopt the attached proposed Resolution of the Board Of County Commissioners Of Pasco County, Florida, Establishing The Pasco County Environmental Land Acquisition Task Force.

3.         Direct revisions to the attached proposed Resolution of the Board Of County Commissioners Of Pasco County, Florida, Establishing The Pasco County Environmental Land Acquisition Task Force.

RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING:

The County Attorney’s Office in concurrence with the County Administrator recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve alternative number 1, and adopt the attached Resolution, authorize the Chairman’s signature on same, and direct secretarial services to distribute as follows:  retain the original and send one certified original to the County Attorney, New Port Richey.
