It is recommended that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board.

The petitioners seek to vacate the following easements:

SEE EXHIBIT “A” ATTACHED HERETO AND

BY REFERENCE MADE A PART THEREOF

The petitioners request this vacation of easements for the following reason:

To have a pool constructed.

The subject property is located on the northerly side of the cul-de-sac (Geese Circle), approximately 240 feet from the intersection of Eagle Island Drive and Eagle Boulevard.

Said easements have been dedicated to the public by the recorded plat of Lake Padgett Pines, Unit I, Lots 148 and 149, as recorded in Plat Book 14, Pages 20 thru 26, of the Public Records of Pasco County, Florida.

ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS:

After reviewing the petition and inspecting the property, the Board has two alternatives:

1.         To approve the petition as requested.

2.         To disapprove the petition should there be some future need for these easements.

RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING:

Therefore, the Real Estate Division recommends the Board approve Alternative No. 1, and authorize the Chairman to execute the Notice of Adoption of a Resolution and the Resolution to vacate the above-described easements of Lots 148 and 149, Lake Padgett Pines, Unit I.

No funding will be required to complete this project.
