It is recommended that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS :
Lykes Bros. Inc., has requested an exchange of property for Wells Road. Pasco County currently owns right-of-way for a portion of Wells Road in which the future roadway will not be located. Lykes Bros. Inc., owns the property that will be required for the future roadway.
Pasco County will transfer its interest in the real property being more particularly described in:

HEREOF.
In return, Lykes Bros. Inc., will transfer the property described in:

EXHIBITS "A", "B-1", AND "B-2" ATTACHED HERTO
AND BY REFERENCE MADE A PART
HEREOF.
The interest in property presently held by Pasco County is in fee simple.
The property, which Lykes Bros. Inc., will convey to Pasco County, is also in fee simple.
The terms of the exchange are more specifically described as follows:

3. E ach party shall assume its own recording costs, prorated ad valorem taxes, if applicable, and cost of title guarantee.
The purpose of this exchange is to acquire a more useable right-of-way for Pasco County.
The Engineering Services Department has reviewed this request and has found no objection to said exchange.
The Real Estate Division has prepared the necessary Notice of Exchange and County Deed to be executed by the Board in order to affect this exchange.
ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS :
The Board has two alternatives:
1. To authorize the Chairman to execute the attached Resolution, authorizing the exchange; and authorize the Chairman to execute the County Deed to transfer the County’s interest in the subject parcel.
2. To deny the request which will result in both parties retaining their existing sites.
RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING :
The Real Estate Division of the Engineering Services Department recommends the Board approve Alternative No. 1, and direct Secretarial Services to distribute the original executed County Deed to the Real Estate Division, New Port Richey, so the exchange of property may be affected.
No additional funding is required to complete this action.
