It is recommended that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS:
Please find enclosed for your consideration the Pasco County Landscaping and Irrigation Ordinance. The attached ordinance is being submitted as introduced and has not been modified pursuant to comments from the Citizen Ordinance Review Committee at the above referenced meetings.
The staff is requesting to continue the first public hearing to February 12, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. in Dade City in order for staff to meet with the Citizen Ordinance Review Committee chairman to revise the Landscape and Irrigation Ordinance pursuant to that meeting. Following revisions to the ordinance, it will be reviewed by the Citizen Ordinance Review Committee for further comment.
ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS:
The Board of County Commissioners is requested to consider the following alternatives:
1. Continue the first Public Hearing to February 12, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. in Dade City
2. Direct staff to some other course of action.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING:
The Zoning Department recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve alternative number 1.
