At this time Pasco County Human Services is accepting citizen applications for the following services/programs only:  Temporary Rental Assistance and Indigent Cremation Assistance.

Welcome to Human Services!


Our services are designed primarily to provide short-term, temporary assistance to families in accordance with Division rules, regulations, and budgetary constraints.  For more information, please click on the appropriate link below or the links on either side of this webpage.

If you are in need of assistance, we encourage you to first contact the Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County or your nearest Resource Center listed at the bottom of this page in order to be connected to the most appropriate services to fit your needs.

Pasco County Libraries has helped develop and maintain a new, one-stop website called GetHelpFlorida.org that provides access to valuable Federal, State, and Local government and social services programs, agencies, and resources.  An example of just a few of the resources available through the website include:

Learn More About SHINE

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and your local Area Agency on Aging.  Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information.  SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

SHINE was recently featured in a video for Aging on the Suncoast.  You can view the video to learn more about the program.
