8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Effective 11-6-17: All Central Permitting offices will close at 4:00 p.m.; hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.  Please note, no payments will be processed in the office after 3:30 p.m.  Payments are accepted online 24 hours a day.

Report Unlicensed Contracting:
Unlicensed Contracting? Call the Department of Business and Professional Regulation toll-free at 1-866-532-1440 or go to their website to report unlicensed activity.


The Construction Investigation area investigates construction related Customer Service Requests, such as unpermitted work, unlicensed work, and violations of Florida Building Code, Florida State Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, Code of Federal Regulations, Pasco County Land Development Code, and Pasco County Code.

Pasco County Construction Board

The Pasco County Construction Board (PCCB) hears and decides appeals from decision of the building official regarding the application or interpretation of technical codes, denial or revocation of permits, requests for variances from the application of technical codes, and applications for certificates of competency; reviews and proposes amendments to building codes.

The PCCB also hears and decides alleged violations of building construction requirements.

Apply for a Contractor License
Want to apply for a Contractor License? The Application is the starting point, complete this form and provide all the required information to the Pasco County Contractor Licensing Office.

Contractors Already Registered With Pasco County
If you are a state certified contractor that has already registered in our system but not active in our system, please download this form, fill it in and have it notarized.  Email it along with a copy of your driver's license and your current worker's compensation and/or certificate of liability, showing the qualifier covered for worker's compensation to .  After we update your license we will email you back with instructions to go online and pay your license fee. 

Contractors NOT Registered With Pasco County
If you are a state certified contractor not registered in our system, please go online to, register for an account and apply to register your state certified license.  After you do so, please email  stating you have an account and need your license linked.  Send us your user ID you created and your license numbers to link.  After your license is current and linked you will be able to see your record history and apply for some quick permits.

The Minimum Housing area investigates Minimum Housing Customer Service Requests alleged violations of Pasco County Code Section 18-103.

Mobile/Manfactured Homes
Pasco County Ordinance Article VII. Mobile/Manfactured Homes
Section 18-129 Applicability
This article does not apply to new mobile/manufactured homes and park trailers which have never been installed, set up, or placed onto a site. This article does not apply to homes or trailers located on a commercial sales lot that is in compliance with the county's zoning laws. This article does not apply to recreational vehicles that are fully licensed and ready for highway use. A recreational vehicle is ready for highway use if it is on its wheels or internal jacking system, is attached to the site only by quick disconnect type utilities and security devices, and has no permanently attached structures. This article applies to all other mobile/manufactured homes and park trailers that are parked, stored, or placed at any location, or moved to a different location, in the unincorporated area of Pasco County after June 11, 2007.
