Commissioner Mike Wells, District 4, was elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2014 and was chosen in 2017 to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board. He is a native Floridian and a 39+ year resident of Pasco County. Mike attended Ridgewood High School and studied at Pasco Hernando State College. He resides in New Port Richey with his wife and son.
Mike Wells is a member of the National Association of Realtors, West Pasco Board of Realtors, Florida Realtors, the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce and the NRA. He is a graduate of the Leadership Pasco class of 2006.
Mike has been appointed as the Pasco County board representative for the Area Agency on Aging, the Department of Juvenile Justice Circuit Advisory Board, the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, the Engineering and Architectural Selection Committee, the Pasco Economic Development Council, the Pasco County Fair Authority and the Value Adjustment Board.
Mike’s passion is participating in many volunteer activities including offering support to the YMCA of the Suncoast, United Way, Volunteer Way, The Angelus, Sunrise of Pasco, Feeding Pasco’s Elderly and the Coastal Conservation Association.
