The Purchasing Department's purpose is to procure the necessary goods and services required by the departments in a transparent, fair and ethical manner. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Purchasing Department to ensure that all procurement activity is conducted in compliance with the Purchasing Ordinance (Amended Purchasing Ordinance 18-16 ) and Pasco County Code of Ordinances Municode , applicable State and Federal laws and regulations and approved policies and procedures.

Note: The Amended Purchasing Ordinance now includes a Local Vendor Preference Policy in Section 2-111, effective as of June 12, 2018. Please review the ordinance to find out how the new policy may affect how you do business with Pasco County. 


Vendors are encouraged to submit the attached Vendor Information Form (PDF) to our email to have their email address and contract information updated within the new electronic system.

In an effort to generate more local vendor participation, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Purchasing Department will be holding a workshop called "Doing Business with Pasco County". This is a great opportunity to learn about:
